Conference Site Visits – Wednesday, 22 July 2026
The following site visits have been organised for conference delegates. Pre-registration is essential. All site visits start at 9am from the front of the Century City Conference Centre and return to the same place. Return times quoted are estimates and are expected between 12:00 noon and 13:00. Please note that there is no lunch provided on this day. The cost per site visit is R350 excl VAT per person per visit.

This site visit will provide insight into global logistics operations, with a focus on port-centric supply chains, warehousing, and cold storage solutions. Delegates will gain an understanding of how integrated logistics providers manage end-to-end supply chains, including import/export handling, storage, and distribution within a global network.

Additional PPE required for the site visit will be issued by Atlantis Foundries upon arrival.
Safety and Security Requirements
To comply with Atlantis Foundries’ safety standards, all delegates must adhere to the following requirements:
- A 100% alcohol breathalyser test will be conducted prior to site entry. Admission is reserved based on the outcome of the test.
• An indemnity form must be completed and signed upon entry to the facility.
• Delegates must comply with all site safety instructions and procedures communicated during the visit.
• Photography restrictions and security procedures will be communicated on arrival, where applicable.

The Adam Tas site in Stellenbosch is a key production and logistics facility within the Western Cape’s beverage industry. Located in the Cape Winelands, the site integrates operations including processing, bottling, storage, and distribution. It supports both domestic and export markets, offering a practical example of how agricultural production is linked to industrial processing and global logistics within the beverage value chain.

- A breathalyser test will be conducted upon entering and exiting the premises.
- Photography is strictly prohibited anywhere on site.
- A mandatory Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) induction will be conducted prior to the tour.

• Dress Code: Delegates are required to wear:
- Closed shoes (safety shoes are preferred; safety clip-on toe guards will be provided for closed non-safety shoes).
- Long pants (no torn or ripped clothing).
- No jewellery (including rings, earrings, chains, bracelets, or watches).
- Cell phones are not permitted inside the Distribution Centre unless special access has been arranged.

- Safety shoes (preferred)
• Reflective vest
• Hard hat (recommended if entering the racking area)
